The Beginning

It began harmlessly enough. School would be out for two weeks and then we would go back.

Except we didn’t. In-person classes were cancelled for the remainder of the school year.

Surely the nightmare would be over by summer’s end.

Except that it wasn’t. It was announced that all students would begin the 2020-2021 school year with virtual classes.

All students except mine.

We decided to keep our girls home and homeschool for the first time.

This blog is dedicated to sharing our reflections and lessons learned.

I looked down the line and I wondered; I buckled up my boots and I started.
